What I do
I am am responsible for the reviews section of EMBO reports. We publish five different article formats: reviews, concepts, talking points, and meeting and literature reports. I commission most of our content, although we also receive proposals from potential authors. All of our content is peer-reviewed and, if accepted, I work with the authors on style and clarity to ensure that everything we publish is understandable to a generalist audience.
I also edit primary research manuscripts occasionally.
