      I’m a professional “interested lay person” which means I’m interested in every aspect of science, technology and maths. Also motorbikes and anything that flies, contemporary opera, current affairs and travel.

      engaging cogs (www.engagingcogs.org ) an EPSRC-funded forum to explore how the public thinks about engineering.
      The Comedy Research Project (www.comedyresearchproject.com) a two-woman science comedy double act that now does shows about engineering too.
      NESTA FameLab (www.famelab.org) and FameLab International, finding scientists and engineers who want to share their work with the public.
