Physics
In the time of semantic web, people are no longer satisfied with just finding something. You need a ‘librarian’ who can help you to organize what you try to find. Such as, Categorizing journal papers in some well-established topics, the authors who are usually the expert in this field, and Journals which usually cover the cutting-edge research about this problem.
Furthermore, it is really time-consuming and inconvenient for us to check all those journals one by one. We need a search engine which could cover APS journals, European Physics Journals and UK IOP journals. Even with ArXiv, ScienceDirect and SCOPUS, semantic web searching is still a welcomed gadget for physicists.
The SCITopia is right choice for physicists: http://www.scitopia.org

Biology
Just like Physics Review serial for physicists, PubMed is the most important source for biologists. GoPubMed does a similar jobs to categorize information in biology on PubMed like SCITopia does in physics. So GoPubMed is the right choice for biologists.

A couple of additional deep web search sites may be beneficial as well: www.worldwidescience.org, www.mednar.com, or www.science.gov. All of these sites are authoritative within their respective domains. The primary difference between these search sites and Google is that these sites do not crawl & index anything, they utilize the native search engines of the contributing sources. De-duplication reduces redundancy, and topic clustering assists in directing you to the information you seek. Working on cutting-edge technology? Set an alert to keep searching for new data that’s added to the sources. The new discoveries will be sent to your mail box.
