Why you shouldn’t play with your poster tube:
Two weeks ago, when I prepared for the conference, I spent about 30 minutes printing my poster then I spent the rest of the morning by finding somenone I could borrowed a poster tube from.
Why all the “bio” companies miss out the opportunity to advertise themself on poster tubes? Hundreds of thousends of scientist swarm around the globe following the calling of free food conferences, displaying their tube to millions.
I wiil visit a friend at this long weekend in Germany, so there won’t be new strip on Friday.

The company I used to work for gives away poster tubes with the company name and logo on the side. (A friend who also used to work there actually sent me a link to this post before I saw it myself). I once got on a flight to a huge conference to find that about 8 people on board were using the tube!

I remember the first conference in the US when a guy in line to the security check asked “is that a rife in there” and pointed at my poster tube….. you never know what people think ;)
