Stripped Science’s first contest closed at last Sunday, I held the draw this week:
The winners are Cath and Matt, plus Bob’s name was pulled out from the hat, so he also won a free T-shirt.
Congratulation to the winners and enjoy the strip!

The narrator looks like an oddly shaped fragile glass container too.
Not naming any names here, but one institution I worked in was constructed in such a way that the chemical fume hood exhaust was all dumped into the lab administrator’s office. I think they only figured it out because she didn’t like the smell of formaldehyde. Insane. Very strange to see that this interesting construction is common!
Thanks again Viktor, can’t wait to get my t-shirt!
@Anna: On the other hand, that provides a very practical way for the lab staff to get back at the administrator after being crossed by him/her. Perhaps the architect who designed the building had spent some time as a postdoc in his youth?
Ha! Good one. That would be smart thinking. However, by administrator, I meant department secretary. I generally hate to be on their bad sides. Will keep the neat exhaust trick up my sleeve for future use :)
