      I am sure that all of you know how frustrating is when a cell culture gets contaminated with some fungi or bacteria.
      But always look at the bright side, not just the wasted time/effort/money. Take a look at the medium before you discard it.

          In two labs I’ve worked at there was someone who kept contaminated bottles and plates. One person had a 500ml LB bottle with a big thing in it called “Fluffy” (because it was, and it filled the ENTIRE bottle). The other person had a collection of plates with interesting looking growths in it.
