• The Scientist by Richard Grant

Raising being quoted out of context to an art form: 'awesome, but not always right'. Drinks well with scientists.

Sometimes it’s hard to hear the argument for all the eldritch squishing noises. I presume this is the sound of someone being flagellated with a wetsuit full of lumpy custard. Really, you had to be there.

It’s been slightly adjusted and turned into a podcast thing.

I put one together about the London science pubs we visited on the Thursday night before the conference.

The link to the blog post is here and to the mp3 directly here

Will download your one from the conference now – I just didn’t get myself up to interview people!

I think we’ll be on this week’s guardian science podcast plus the nature one of course. Video files of all the talks will appear before long.
