What I do

I’m a structural biologist, mostly from the NMR side of the fence, but I also do some protein crystallography. I have a general interest in structural bioinformatics, “Web2.0” for science. The biological systems I currently study include the mitochondrial protein import machinary (TOM, TIM and SAM complexes), and the machinary involved in insertion and assembly of bacterial outer membrane proteins.
