Interests
I am currently characterising anti-tumour T cells of patients who were part of a clinical trial for a dendritic cell-based immunotherapy against advanced melanoma. These patients had stage IV disease, which is the most advanced stage, and the two patients I am studying mounted complete clinical responses following vaccination (ie. all their tumours were resolved). The majority of my project involves multi-colour flow cytometry, cell sorting and T cell cloning.
