    • Cancer Research Day in Roma on November 10

      If you happen to be in Roma this Saturday morning you may not want to miss the public event on Cancer Research at the Capitoline Hill, in the very heart of the eternal city.
      Additional events are organized by the Italian Association for Cancer Research (AIRC) in other Italian cities if you won’t be based in Rome this Saturday. You can find them here
      The aim is to attract the general public as well as young researchers.
      Invited speakers for the Rome event include:

      • Umberto Veronesi, Istituto Europeo di Oncologia, Milan
      • Paola Muti, Istituto Tumori Regina Elena, Rome
      • Riccardo Dalla Favera, Columbia University, New York
      • Pier Giorgio Odifreddi, Mathematician
