Yesterday I arrived in Florence, the city of Reinassance. But I’m not here as a turist, even though last night I enjoyed a wonderful fiorentina steak near the duomo: it was so tender and tasteful…
I’m here for my first payed job as sound technician for a series of shooting sessions. In fact, the agency I work for is realizing and producing some videos of chemistry lab experiments with an educational purpose. Today we are shooting redox and clock reactions experiences with a group of scientific animators from the University of Florence.
I’m nervous because it’s my first (official) time as utility (as they, or must I say ‘we’?, say in jargon) and I’m excited because it’s really a fascinating way of trying to communicate science. Last night camera, microphones, and the lights were ok. I hope everything will be fine also today.
Well, as you can see, not only did I say I would write about science on screen in this blog, but I’m also contributing to the realization some videos!
