My primary purpose these days is as a caregiver to my 84 year old husband who is being challenged by Parkinson’s/Lewy Body Dementia.

I write, swim, play piano, read, and am the Trustee of The Carmen Foundation which is committed to 21st Century Research in finding antidotes for PD/LBD.

Contributor to the LBDA, MJ Fox Foundation, Educational programs with the St. Charles Foundation in Bend, OR, Nursing Scholarships with the Central Oregon Community College, a Caregiver’s Lecture program with Mass. Gen. Hospital Senior Health , among other Philanthropic efforts
