Along with a number of other publishers, Macmillan have kindly been invited by Jilly Kidd to be part of Muse Harbour, one of the top spots for writers in Second Life. Jilly is the host of one of the top TV shows in Second Life, Meet an Author, featuring interviews with authors from a wide range of genres. Muse Harbour is an area for writers to come together and hopefully be inspired in their writing and several publishers including Canongate, Bluechrome and now Macmillan have presences there.

Ours is still very much a work in progress (you can currently get free sample chapters from a handful of Pan and Palgrave books) but we will be adding more content as we go along and you are very welcome to come and visit. Must get back now, being a bookstore owner is tough work – many more hours of dithering over whether the chairs match the carpet still to go…
