    • No keys - no home?

Over the last couple of days I have been terribly busy organizing the relocation to London. When all my stuff was finally loaded into the truck and I handed over the keys to my landlord I suddenly got a strange feeling when looking at my key ring: There was no key left.

OK, there is this tiny key for a suitcase padlock and also a bottle opener (which I am using for about 15 years). But there was no real key for a place where I live or that I would call “home”. Where actually is my home now? Since I lost the keys of my parents’ house during a recent relocation in Vienna I really felt a bit homeless.

Hopefully, this is about to change soon as I will jump onto a plane to London this afternoon. I have been struggling a bit with the pace of the market for rented apartments in London but will arrive at my new “home” soon. Then I will also add a new key to my key ring!
