This happened a lot faster than I thought it would. After being stuck in re-review hell for a couple of months the whole copy-editing/proof reading part took only a few days. Within a couple of hours of mailing back corrected proofs I received this:

      Dr. Brooks,

You and your co-author’s manuscript, “Slim-Prim: A Biomedical Informatics
Database to Promote Translational Research” has been posted to the
      Perspectives section of the
AHIMA Web site. I have attached a direct link as
well as a final version of the PDF.

Thank you once again for your interest in Perspectives in Health Information
      Management.

Time for a pint, I think!

      …if I didn’t have a grant due in 10 days…

@Anna: I might treat myself to a glass or two of wine tonight… I’ve just finished the Preliminary Studies section (or as much as I can do without the rest of my team), so I think I shall call it quits for the day. Doubtless I’ll be back in over the weekend (if I don’t get knocked-out sparring at Muay Thai tomorrow), so I might a well make hay while the sun shines, right? >:)

Congrats Ian! Hope this means you can savor the weekend a little more than usual. Though it looks like you’ve got quite a bit of rain headed your way.

@Elizabeth: Thankya Vuruh Muh (<- My Elvis impression)

Memphis in May is the name of the month long festival we have each year. It is also known as Memphis in Mud because, without fail, it rains every freakin’ weekend
