    • Bora Goes Wild In The Country

Here is a picture of the Nature Network Bloggers (Cromer Division) hard at work, a few moments ago:

Not long after his arrival Chez Gee, Heidi took us both on a very long walk around Cromer and neighbouring East Runton during which we saw Cromer’s famous pier and discovered that really, given the circumstances, I could hardly be a resident of Cromer and not be a blogger. You see, until Bora (who, as Jonathan Eisen has elsewhere sagely noted, is one of those celebrities who, like Madonna, doesn’t really need a surname) had pointed it out to me, it never occurred to me that the name of Cromer’s local hero might have a weird kind of morphic resonance. Nominative determinism in action.

Leave it to me to be noted in one work, for an April Fools joke, and for bringing Madonna into a discussion of science bloggers. Clearly proof that I have a ways to go before growing up.

Sure is, and she can see you, through that picture, and your terminal. You are being watched. Especially if you are eating a bacon sandwich.

Of course. Bacon sandwiches are very popular.
