I just noticed that at the bottom of my water bottle, which I’ve had for years (but haven’t used in a while) it says “H2O!”
With exclamation mark and everything!
I love sudden occurrences of chemical notation.
It's a blog. I don't really know what it's about either.

That’s cool- I wish I had a sugar bowl so I could scrawl C12H22O11! on the bottom.
My sugar bowl says CH12H22O11 on the outside, but my creamer just says Cr+(EA)m.
You can also write NaCl on a salt shaker. Hm. Not much else in the kitchen is just 1 molecule…
Aaaand the flood gates are open- “NaHCO3!” is a good raising agent…… Erm, that’s all I’ve got.
Oooh, don’t forget C8H10N4O2. Ever seen the coffee cups from Fisher Scientific with the full description of caffeine on them, including toxicological information? Beautiful.
I wasn’t going to count caffeine, because I don’t have caffeine alone. But if we go there, then acetic acid certainly qualifies too. And capsaicin.
You’re right of course – I don’t have pure caffeine in my cupboard either :)
