Hah! I’ve seen this mis-named even in applications to the agency in question.
“Canadian Foundation for Innovation” seems to be the most popular mistake (n=small, study=unscientific).
Richard, that’s hilarious! It serves them right though for having such an unusual name. “Canadian” just sounds more logical than “Canada” in that context!
I will be using Bob’s joke a lot from now on. I can’t believe I’ve never heard anyone here use it before.
