Hey there all you fun people – I’m hoping someone on here is smarter than I am.
I’m doing cell culture and noticed a lot of studies that use the same cell line (HL-1) put the cells in Ex-Cell 320 media before they do experiments with them. We’re having issues (who doesn’t?) so we wanted to try that – but, of course, it’s magically vanished. No one sells Ex-Cell 320, presumably since JRH got taken up by Sigma. Does anyone know if it’s been marketed under another name, or what essential media is closest to it? It was “proprietary” so I can’t even find a formulation, and Sigma’s tech dept. still refuses to answer me. Or, if anyone knows where to buy some from… Anyhow, let me know.

(or try Googling to see if anyone else is having the same problem. That has helped me before when products changed names.)
