Without attempting to steal the thunder of fiction lab (Jenny, what’s happened to that – I don’t seem to have seen posts about it recently?) – I’m delighted to be appearing at the British Science Association’s London popular science book club in April (29th to be precise) – so if there’s anyone around then, great to see you.
Here’s their rather pretty bijou posterette:

Hi Brian
By coincidence, I’ve got a post about FL that’s going live tonight. (The thing was postponed for two months, first by the snow and second by a scheduling snafu on my part, but it’s still going strong!)
The BA thing sounds cool!
Thanks, Jenny – we’re not allowed to call it the BA any more. Not only has the name changed from the British Association [for the Advancement of Science] they insist that it mustn’t be reduced to initials – (I think they got fed up with being confused with an airline) – so that’s the British Science Association.
For anyone not familiar with Fiction Lab (probably no one who reads this), you can find more on this superb monthly extravaganza at Jenny’s post and there’s a Facebook event for the April session here
