I’ve just received this fascinating email:
Complements of the day to you.
I am Juliet, how are you, hope you are fine and in perfect condition of health.I went through your profile on(network.nature.com) and I read it and took interestin it,if you don’t mind I will like to know you much better, although I came online to look for a true and loving man that is ready for a true, honest and loving relationship if you are the kind of man am talking about then send me a mail now on my private email included, so that I will tell you all about myself.and i have something very IMPORTANT to tell you Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks and God bless.
Who says science isn’t sexy?
I would have had to turn Juliet down anway, but sadly I suspect he, she or it she is a scammer.
Anyone else had sudden strange attentions? Or was I the only one with such a magnetic profile?
I once had someone who didn’t appear to be a scammer offering to have my babies, but when I said I needed to see her medical records she never wrote back.
Seriously.
I didn’t get an offer of love but a couple of months back got this:
I’ve something very important and profitable which I would love to share with you, but not in a public site like this, therefore, would advise you to kindly write me back …
Send picture of tractor.
Send picture of calcium release from intracellular stores.
No messages like that for me. Eva and I just get propositioned by Richard.
@Cath,
After reviewing the thread you flagged up, a suggestion was made that I may have wished to intercede as Ref.
Having viewed the action reply, I missed that incident in real time, but having checked with the fourth official, I would have played the advatage rule, rather than brandishing a card.
That said, I’ll be keeping an even closer eye on that Grant chappy in this regard.

Another angle:
Have you heard the news today, It’s groundbreaking stuff, Mr xxx xxxxxx has admitted on reflection that he got it completely wrong and shouldn’t have disallowed xxxx’s deserved equalising xxxx and xxxxxx against xxx on Saturday 19th of xxxxxx. He admits in hindsight due to bad positioning he made a huge xxxxxx and that it really was a legitimate xxxx.

Arsene Wenger didn’t see anything either
Hey, I don’t proposition just anyone, you know.
Ah, well that’s OK then.
Still aint gonna happen though ;)
Coming back to Brian’s original post, did anyone else find the following sentence to be particularly strange?
“hope you are fine and in perfect condition of health.”
I do wonder what she’s got planned for you Brian.
Yeah Brian. Stock up on zinc supplements, ’mk?
I was wondering about ‘Doctor’ Gillian McKeith’s Horny Goat Weed pills
So was it really just me? I honestly assumed it was a blanket thing sent to everyone. Now I’m really worried!
Sorry, I ought to stress I haven’t made this up to be entertaining, I really did get this email, via the Nature Network contact system.
