The excuse is that Grrlscientist is visiting Helsinki, and wants to learn more about Finnish culture (she currently only knows two words of Finnish, both beginning with P). And of course it’s always nice to meet up with people who you’ve only had virtual contact with.
The time: Wednesday 19th November, starting at about 19.00 (we might
willstart earlier).
The place: Kaisla, in Kaisaniemi (just round the corner from the railway station square).Kaisla has good beer, and stonking great sandwiches, so we can be all set for the whole evening. I wonder in NPG will sponsor a round of drinks?

Sounds great, I wish I could be there.
I’m sure there are still flights available. :-)
I should check to see if there is wireless available – if so we could live-blog it. Or at least the early part o0f the evening.
I’m sure the later part of the evening would be much more
embarrassinginteresting.
