He was staring out of the window at a pair of great tits. They flew away before I got the chance to take a photo.
I’m sure the only reason he spends so much time sat on the mat is because he knows I dislike clichés.
Oh, and whilst trying to find suitable material, I found a host of really nice bird photos from a gent called Sergey Yeliseev. Worth a browse if you have a few minutes spare.

If I was really well trained, I would be catching the birds for him.
And here I thought the Beast was writing the posts on this blog.
Now I’m confused ….
I have been on the road so much recently that I have not even had time to blog. (Sorry Bob, I will make it to Kaupanger but not to Helsinki next week – but the story has taken an unexpected twist.)
In any case, I could not resist posting a photo in response:
