Corie Lok's profile

What I do

As Senior Editor of Nature Network, I build and manage this growing online community of scientists. I’m also responsible for Nature Network Boston, (NNB) where I write for a news blog that covers news and trends in Boston science.

I commissioned, wrote and edited news and feature articles about Boston science for NNB’s news section. (Those articles can be found in the archive of the Boston news blog.)

I’ve been in the Boston area since 2001. I first joined Nature in 2005 as the assistant editor of Naturejobs (the careers section of Nature). Before that, I worked for MIT’s Technology Review magazine as an editor and reporter, writing about biotech, nanotech, IT and telecom. And before that, I was a producer with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (Radio) in Toronto, where I worked for the weekly science show, Quirks and Quarks, as well as the daily current affairs show, The Current. My background is in science journalism.
