An en-masse email that was in my inbox this afternoon:

      From: Anton ___
Date: Mon, May 18, 2009 at 1:05 PM
      Subject: [Bambi-all] Ahem… undergarments.
      To: bambi-all@anu.edu.au
(btw, bambi = cute little deer biochem & molecular bio)

      Dear All,
A pair of nondescript grey undies were left on the stairs. They have been placed in an unmarked yellow envelope next to the fax machine, and will be disposed of at the end of the day if no-one claims them.

Truly, this has been the strangest email I have yet sent.

      Cheers,
      Anton the gloved.

Makes me wonder what’s going on here after hours…

And for the rest of the day, I could hear random snickering bursting out in the usually quiet grad study areas.
