Musings on London science, from the biggest London obsessive you'll ever meet.

    • What do you think of our beautiful new homepage?

Ever the optimists, we’ve taken a cue form the good weather (at least in London) to have a Spring clean.

The most notable change in our new release (version 3.20) is a new-look homepage. This is the first thing most new visitors see, so we wanted to make it look much more inviting and informative. We’ve added some blurb at the top and updated other information on the page. You’ll have to log out and go to global home to see it.

Elsewhere, we’ve introduced a new section on the blogs homepage to show which posts from the past couple of weeks have received the most comments (currently about Bronwen Dekker’s egotistical adventures Googling her own name).

And, as usual, we’ve made several behind-the-scenes improvements to make things tick better.

I think it is very nice. Well done to you — and the fantastic Lesley Powell I am sure must have had a hand in this.
However, I am afraid I rarely see homepages as I am an RSS freak. But I will come back now and again and look, as it is very nice.

Thanks Maxine. Yes, it won’t be seen by returning Nature Networkers very much, but is intended as an eyecatching and informative starting point for newcomers.
