      Space cadets young and old take note: the Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green is, ahem, launching a new exhibition about the impact of space travel on everyday life.

      Space Age: Exploration, design and popular culture blasts off tomorrow. The exhibition brings the out-of-this-world down to Earth by looking at films, fashions, toys and technologies inspired by space travel.

      Meanwhile, if you’re looking for a bit of space-age nostalgia, check out the Eagle Annual (best of the 1950’s comic)—a newly published compilation of vintage Dan Dare et al. The perfect stocking filler for…well, me.
