It’s difficult to ignore the Wellcome Collection. They seem to have a new announcement every week. Today, they revealed what will replace The Heart exhibition, which closes on September 16.

‘Sleeping and dreaming’ looks at’the mysterious state we all inhabit for a third of our lives’. Eclectic contributions come from such somnoluminaries as Goya, Freud, Aristotle and the Beatles. The subjects tackled include sleep deprivation, sleep and the modern world, homeless sleeping and the enigma of dreams.

The exhibition, in collaboration with Dresden’s Hygeine Museum, opens on 29 November. We’ll send you a wake up call nearer the time.
