Thanks to everyone who came along to the Nature Network London drinks last night. We had a very good turn out. Once again, the mixture of people was heartening. Biochemists rubbing shoulders with astrophysicists, chemists, psychologists, librarians…
The next such event will be on Wednesday 27 June. Same time, same place.
Any feedback about last night’s gathering is welcome…even if it’s along the lines of ‘I got talking to a biological statistician and can’t remember their name’, or ‘My head hurts’. Oh, and let me know if you have ideas for other events you’d like to see us organise. Someone suggested a ‘scientific breakfast meet-up’. I’m not sure what a scientific breakfast might entail – 2.5 moles of cornflakes and a conical flask of tea, perhaps.
By the way, someone left a coat behind...
It was great fun and I already marked the next date on my calendar! Not to mention that I finally got hold of one of those Nature Network pens I heard so much about… ;-)
