I’m an artist and I want to measure the speed of light in a gallery (as part of a performance) I have seen that you can do some things with the heating patterns produced by microwave ovens (stop the dish turning then cook something that will show the hot spots…these correspond to the peaks of the wave, get the Hz do the maths etc etc) but I’m wondering if there may be a more interesting or different way of doing it. I am really concerned with getting the science right in my work so any help would be great.
