DESCRIPTION:A unique opportunity to hear three of the country’s most pre-
 eminent scholars share their visions of how the past will be investigated\,
  understood and presented in the future and how technological and scientifi
 c advances will affect the communication of research and discovery.\n\nMe
 mbers of the audience are encouraged to take part in this debate\, and ther
 e will be opportunities to put questions to the members of the panel.\n\n
 Richard Bradley is Professor of Archaeology at Reading University. His main
  interests are in European prehistory and his fieldwork has led him to stud
 y prehistoric settlements\, landscapes and monuments in England\, Scotland\
 , Sweden\, Spain and Portugal.\n\nDavid Cannadine is Queen Elizabeth the 
 Queen Mother Professor of British History at the Institute of Historical Re
 search\, University of London. He is a well-known broadcaster and a recogni
 zed commentator on British public life and monarchy. His many books include
  The Decline and Fall of the British Aristocracy and\, most recently\, Mell
 on: an American life\, a biography of industrialist and banker\, Andrew Mel
 lon.\n\nCarenza Lewis teaches medieval archaeology at the University of C
 ambridge and is leader of Access Cambridge Archaeology\, an initiative desi
 gned to widen access to higher education among under-represented groups. Sh
 e was one of the original team members of the innovative and award-winning 
 Channel 4 archaeological series\, 'Time Team'\, and has presented televisio
 n programmes for BBC2 and HTV.\n\n
