 d Heritage Projects in Conservation_*\n_One day meeting at the Michael Far
 aday Museum at the Royal Institution _\n\nMany important conservation pro
 jects are often neglected after completion and important knowledge that cou
 ld be shared is lost. This meeting\, held jointly with the Historical Group
  of the Royal Society of Chemistry\, will discuss conservation science\, co
 nservation of objects and conservation heritage projects in their historica
 l\, contemporary and national contexts. \n\nThe Royal Institution's build
 ing has recently undergone a major reinterpretation\, partially funded by t
 he HLF. The overall programme of works included a number of major conservat
 ion projects to the building's fabric and contents. Some of the speakers wi
 ll talk from their experience about delivering this project\, including the
  Conservation of Scientific Objects\, Architectural & Collection Conservati
 on and Conservation in context-the Ri archives experience.\n\nThere will 
 be an opportunity\, the previous evening\, to visit the new exhibition spac
 es and heritage building. The reception from 18.30-20.30 will be opened by 
 the Director of the Royal Institution\, Professor Baroness Susan Greenfield
 .\n\n_Closing date for registration is Monday the 14th of July._\n\nThe
