DESCRIPTION:_FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS_\n\nA one-day multi-d
 isciplinary conference for researchers and primary care practitioners with 
 an interest in adolescent health and well-being. In 2006 The Trust for the 
 Study of Adolescence (TSA)\, The Centre for Research in Primary and Communi
 ty Care (CRIPACC) and The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) Ado
 lescent working party for adolescents\, jointly hosted the first 'what work
 s conference' on Young People and Health Research. The organisers are very 
 pleased to announce that the 2nd conference is being hosted by the Associat
 ion for Young Peoples Health (AYPH) (www.youngpeopleshealth.org.uk)\n\nTh
 e aim of this second conference is to further increase the dialogue between
  practitioners and the research community on key issues relating to the hea
 lth and well-being of adolescents. Potential contributors should submit an 
 abstract of maximum 250 words for either a parallel paper session\, poster 
 or workshop by 30st May 2008. The organisers welcome theoretical and empiri
 cal presentations and from any methodological tradition. Contributions are 
 particularly welcomed that address any of the following themes\nâ€¢ Resili
 ence and Assets\nâ€¢ Young peoples participation\, especially in health ca
 re decision-making\nâ€¢ The internet and new ICT's\nâ€¢ Sexual Health\nâ
 €¢ Food and Nutrition\nâ€¢ Primary Health Care\nâ€¢ BME young people\nâ€
 ¢ School nursing\nâ€¢ Methodological Issues involved in researching young 
 peoples health\n\n*_ABSTRACT_* submissions for oral presentations\, works
 hops or posters need to include the following:\n1. Full contact details of
