 ay 27 April will be BSL interpreted_\n\n'On Death' is part of a groundbre
 aking series of theatre essays that use theatre as a way of exploring the f
 undamental preoccupations on modern life. Other works include 'On Love' and
  'On Ego'. 'On Emotion' is currently in development.\n\nMick Gordon is an
  international\, award-winning director. He has been Associate Director at 
 the National Theatre\, Artistic Director of the Gate Theatre and the foundi
 ng Artistic Director of On Theatre.\n\nIn 1987 Marie de Hennezel joined t
 he staff of the first palliative care unit in a Parisian hospital for peopl
 e with terminal illnesses\, where she gathered the experience she describes
  in her book\, 'Intimate Death'. She founded the Bernard Dutant Association
  for AIDS and Re-Empowerment in 1990\, and she gives lectures on approachin
 g the end of life and seminars on accompanying dying.\n\n_In support of t
 he ‘Life Before Death’ exhibition._
