DESCRIPTION:We are all becoming much more specialised in our day to day wor
 king. However at night and at weekends we are expected to provide a general
  service to cover emergency requirement. Most of us will have to be able to
  provide knowledge and skill to recognise and interpret conditions that may
  not fit into our normal everyday working experience. This can leave us fee
 ling vulnerable. 
\nThis one day meeting is being held to discuss what is e
 xpected of us and from us but also to explore potential different ways of w
 orking. Specialists in their fields have been asked to provide delegates wi
 th those “nuggets” of information that might help them avoid the “com
 mon” mistakes that are made by the generalist when reporting specialist w
 ork outside normal working hours.
