DESCRIPTION:Chris Drury is one of a handful of British land artists\, inclu
 ding Richard Long\, David Nash and Andy Goldsworthy\, whose work has an int
 ernational reputation. He has worked on landscape projects all over the wor
 ld and has exhibited widely. Last year he spent two months in Antarctica wi
 th the British Antarctic Survey\, and the resulting work can be seen at Bea
 ux Arts in London in April. Chris will talk about his work\, his walks\, pe
 ople and landscapes and about the extraordinary experience of working deep 
 on the Antarctic ice sheets in the company of a small group of scientists.
