DESCRIPTION:The workshop will begin with the behavioural processes and impa
 cts of domestication on the dog and emotional development of the individual
 . Then there will be an introduction into how to approach understanding beh
 avioural problems\, including some case histories.

\nThe EMRA approach:
  emotion\, mood and reinforcement assessment considers the individuality an
 d emotionality of the animal and thus represents a new way of thinking in t
 he field of pet behaviour.

\nPeter Neville DHc BSc(Hons) has been in pr
 actice for the referral and treatment of behaviour problems in cats and dog
 s for more than 17 years. He is a frequent media broadcaster\, public speak
 er and regular feature writer in magazines Dogs Today and Your Cat. He is t
 he Director of CoAPE and leads regular safaris to study wolves in Germany a
 nd the Czech Republic and to South Africa focussing on African wild dogs\, 
 cheetah\, lions and elephants.
