DESCRIPTION:This two day conference is organised by members of the IET’s 
 Healthcare Technologies Network Executive Team in collaboration with suppor
 ting organisations. With a membership consisting of both hospital based cli
 nical sciences and industry based engineering\, this event aims to bring to
 gether both the developers and the users/purchasers of medical electrical d
 evices and technology.

\nDay one of this event will look at the reality 
 of medical technology today and will consider wireless and non-wireless net
 working in the hospital. Day two will focus on the move of healthcare from 
 the hospital to the home. There will be discussion on what is achievable an
 d how technology can support this.

\nIn this increasingly interdisciplin
 ary area it is now more than ever critical to have good communications betw
 een the involved parties. By taking time out to attend this event you will
