The recent popularity of kitchen gardening has also revived an interest in herbs for their invaluable culinary connection. With this in mind our new one day course offers all the practical advice you need to know to grow them successfully. From border design and cultivation in the ground and containers to propagation, planting and harvesting, it will reveal how best to combat pests and diseases and store the herbs that you have grown. The course also touches on the history of herbs and their medicinal use through the writings of the great herbals and analyses the exciting prospects for their future. Whether you are new to gardening or are experienced and would like to discover more about herbs, this is the perfect course for you!
