Description

Water covers over 70% of our blue planet’s surface. But with droughts and floods striking with seemingly increasing frequency, what does the future hold for this thirsty world? Join water experts in conversation as we dive into the issues and ask how we should be protecting our most precious resource.

How can we improve water sustainability here in the UK? Gareth Walker from Waterwise will highlight some of the projects that he hopes will make a real difference.

Will we soon be waking up to a global water emergency? Julian Caldecott will be exploring how water is reaching a crisis worldwide and what should be done to avert disaster.

With Andy Howe, discover the pressures we face here in London for water resources. And hear how we compare with desert communities in terms of rainfall and water use.

Join architects Sophie Pelsmaker and Susannah Hagan, who will be talking about how we can design buildings of the future that are built to adapt to changing water conditions.
