Description

Join the National Maritime Museum and environmental charity Thames21 for a social event with a difference to help clear up litter from the Thames. Health and safety cover, wellies, gloves, socks and spades are provided. Meet at Poplar and Blackwall District Rowing Club, off Ferry Street, E14 (north end of Greenwich Foot Tunnel/DLR Island Gardens). Simply turn up.

You can reach PBDRC by Docklands Light Railway (DLR) using Island Gardens station just across the road.Convenient train services exist from Tower Gateway, Bank, Stratford and Beckton towards Lewisham via Island Gardens. Alternatively there is a bus stop right outside the DLR station for D7, D18 or P14 buses, or if you prefer to travel by car, there is unrestricted, off-street parking adjacent to the Club.
