In the age of cheap air travel, flying to exotic destinations has become commonplace. But planes are some of the nastiest offenders in terms of the environment, emitting lots of greenhouse gases into the upper atmosphere. Our era of cheap sunny holidays doesn’t sit too well with increasing concern about the future of the world.

Is there a way to make air travel more sustainable for those times when we can’t avoid flying? Boeing are building an airliner that uses biofuel to make its journeys, and we’ll have one of their top environmental strategists, Bill Glover, here to explain how it works.
