Description
Just received a telescope for Christmas? Thinking of buying a telescope? Own a telescope but don’t really know how to use it or how to spot a planet from a star? Then this workshop is for you! Discuss with astronomers the range of telescopes on the market, test out different models and discover what they can do.
The Moon will be close to Mars in the sky and just above the constellation of Orion. If the night is clear the viewing from the Royal Observatory will be excellent. Bring your own telescope or use one provided by the Observatory.
