Description

London is built on clay full of fossilised palm leaves, coconuts and ferns. These ancient plants have helped develop our understanding of climate change, making us realise the climate is not static, but highly changeable. Join Museum researcher Paul Kenrick as he shows us how much more can be revealed about past climates by looking closely at the fossilised plants buried under London.

Part of the Climate Change Season.
