Description

Open Letter

Sue O’Connell, Chief Executive of Partnerships for Health

I am delighted to invite you to attend Partnerships for Health’s Third Annual Conference, “Delivering Healthy Communities Through Partnership”.

The focus for this event will be on the planning and delivery of integrated community facilities through partnership working between the NHS, Local Authorities, LIFT Companies, Community Ventures, Social Enterprise and other local regeneration initiatives.

You will have the opportunity to take part in a truly interactive event, which will include the following features:

• a short pre-event survey where you can voice your thoughts on the opportunities and obstacles for improving the health and well being of communities in your area (this feedback will then directly inform the agenda which will be tailored to include issues you have asked to be debated);

• a “Question Time” session with senior panellists from the public and private sectors;

• “state of the art” voting pad technology to allow you to engage in “live” debates on issues and solutions as they arise; and

• networking sessions where you will be able to share best practice and experience with other community health partners

I would like to invite all members of the public, private and third sectors who have an interest in improving community health to join me at this important event. Accordingly, please feel free to circulate this event information to any colleagues that you think might be interested in attending.

As demand for the event is likely to be high, early booking is recommended.
