Description

In the early 19th century many men risked their lives striving for the North Pole and the fabled North-West Passage. Forced to battled extreme conditions, their journeys were often horrific, but all the while they were still carrying out scientific research and collecting specimens, some of which are kept here at the Museum. Join us as we take a rare glimpse at a few of these specimens and listen to the incredible stories of the men who collected them.
