Description
Science – Fiction: can there be a literature of real science? Led by Dr Jennifer Rohn.
Scientific stereotypes abound in literature as much as in film, and science fiction is a thriving fantasy genre but what of the authentic goings on in actual labs? If science is shaping our future, why have so few novelists engaged with its everyday practice?
Jennifer Rohn is editor of LabLit.com, one of the most vibrant forums for this surprisingly innovative genre. Wellcome Trust’s Daniel Glaser chairs.
