Anousheh Ansari, the first woman to make a privately funded spaceflight to the International Space Station, is to present her remarkable story to members of the British Interplanetary Society (BIS) at a special lecture.

Ansari, who also became the first person of Iranian origin and the first female Muslim to fly in space, will give a 45 mins presentation followed by a 15 mins Q&A session at Imperial College London, South Kensington Campus. BIS members may bring a guest at the reduced rate.
