Description

The use of ozone in water treatment is now well established in the UK. Since the first ozone plants were commissioned 15+ years ago, many lessons have been learnt about its’ use. What benefits have been achieved? What are the disadvantages? Is it a cost-effective treatment solution? Have operating strategies changed over the years? This seminar will bring together operational and technical experiences from the UK water industry, it will reflect on the different reasons for originally installing ozone, explore how it’s currently operated and also consider its future use.
