Description

Every religion tells us stories of why we, and the rest of nature, are here. They help us understand the purpose of existence – including the purpose behind all life. Increasingly, as ecological problems threaten to overwhelm us, is it just possible that ancient wisdom might help us understand and cope with modern dilemmas?

Martin Palmer is a theologian and historian and Secretary General of the Alliance of Religions and Conservation, a sister body of World Wildlife Federation.
